My Major

I've been going back and fourth about the sort of major I've wanted to take since I was in the 8th grade. However, I've always known that I've wanted to go into a field that involved helping people. I was originally interested in social work, however, I wanted to broaden my horizons and give myself more options about what specific career I wanted to go into. 

Instead of going into a social work major, I've decided that I'm going to major in psychology. This will allow me to choose from a plethora (yes, I said plethora) of different careers that I'm interested in. 

However, I'm also really concerned that I'm going to get to college, take that major for two years, and then lose interest in it. Two years worth of time wasted. In general, I'm a very indecisive person, and I'm typically pretty unsure of what I want. You can ask literally any one of my friends and they'll tell you the same thing. 

Oh well, no matter what happens I'll at least be able to get away from home and go off on my own.
